Founded in 2021, Hire With LD was created to provide a more inclusive and sustainable way to dress for life’s special occasions. Based in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, we offer Australia-wide shipping so you can find your perfect outfit wherever you are.

Hi, I’m Lucinda, the owner and heart behind Hire With LD. Like so many women, I struggled to find dresses to hire that truly fit and felt good.
That frustration is what inspired me to create Hire With LD: a space where women of all shapes and sizes can easily hop online and find something they genuinely love to wear.
The most rewarding part of this journey is helping customers feel their best - whether it’s online or in person. Seeing someone light up when they try on the dress and feel confident and beautiful never gets old.

Hiring with us is easy. Browse our collection, select your size and hire dates, and book online.
Yes. We offer try-on appointments at our home studio in Preston, Melbourne (3072 VIC).
We offer hire periods of 4, 6, or 8 days. If you need a longer hire period, please contact us via our Contact Us page to arrange this.
No. Simply return the item as is. Complimentary dry cleaning is included in the hire price.
If your item doesn’t fit or you change your mind, you’ll receive store credit minus a $35 fee (to cover postage and dry cleaning). To be eligible for this the item must be returned within 24 hours of delivery, Store credit is valid for 12 months.
